Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neonatologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will specialize in the care of newborn infants, particularly premature, critically ill, and high-risk babies. The Neonatologist will work closely with pediatricians, obstetricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive neonatal care and ensure the best possible outcomes for newborns.
Diagnose and manage medical conditions affecting newborn infants, including premature and critically ill babies. Provide care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and newborn nursery. Perform neonatal procedures such as resuscitation, intubation, central line placement, and ventilator management. Monitor growth, development, and recovery of newborn patients.
Collaborate with obstetricians and pediatric teams for high-risk deliveries and neonatal emergencies. Counsel and educate parents regarding newborn health, treatment plans, and follow-up care. Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and neonatal care protocols.
Stay updated with advancements in neonatology and evidence-based practices.
Requirements
MBBS with MD/DNB Pediatrics and DM/Fellowship in Neonatology (or equivalent qualification). Valid medical registration/license to practice.
