Adelphi is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing services at a facility in Richmond County, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for adolescents in a structured setting and must be comfortable working independently while collaborating with direct care staff. Job Quick Facts:

- Compensation: $45–$50/hr Requirements:
- Active North Carolina RN License.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in adolescent, pediatric, school, public health, correctional/juvenile, and/or emergency nursing.
- Ability to provide independent nursing care within the full scope of RN practice.
- Able to function independently as the sole medical provider during portions of the shift.
- Strong assessment, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Teams or WebEx.
- Must complete required orientation & training, either in person or virtually with camera on.
- Follow facility security requirements, including clear-bag policy and no cell phones.
- Complete required compliance documentation and PREA training prior to start.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to adolescents in a secure healthcare setting.
- Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient health status.
- Respond to medical concerns and changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications and treatments according to orders and protocols.
- Collaborate with direct care staff and healthcare personnel to support patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records.
- Communicate effectively regarding patient needs and care coordination.
- Support health, safety, and wellness within the healthcare environment.
- Maintain compliance with nursing standards, facility policies & confidentiality requirements.
