Experienced Baker

Job Title: Baker Employer: Bakers Delight Lanyon Location: Conder, ACT Employment Type: Full-time Bakers Delight Lanyon is looking for an experienced and motivated Baker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking fresh bread and bakery products daily while maintaining Bakers Delight’s quality and presentation standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare, mix, knead, mould and bake bread, rolls and other bakery products. Follow recipes, production schedules and quality standards. Operate bakery equipment including ovens, mixers, proofers and dough machinery. Monitor dough quality, baking times and finished product presentation.

Ensure all products are baked fresh and ready for daily customer demand. Maintain a clean, safe and organised bakery work area. Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures. Assist with stock rotation, ingredient preparation and minimising wastage. Work cooperatively with bakery and retail staff to support smooth store operations.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Baker in a retail or commercial bakery environment. Strong knowledge of bread production and bakery processes. Ability to work early mornings and follow production timelines. Good communication, teamwork and reliability. Commitment to producing high-quality baked products.
