Posting Title: Cardiologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹5LPM to 6LPM Work Experience: 3+ years Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests. Perform and interpret advanced cardiac diagnostic procedures such as Echocardiography, TMT (Treadmill Test), Holter Monitoring, and stress imaging.
Lead and perform invasive cardiac procedures including Cardiac Catheterization, Coronary Angiography, Angioplasty (PCI), and stent placement. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions, including myocardial infarction, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and arrhythmias. Perform and manage Pacemaker Implantation and device follow-up, including device interrogation and programming.
Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, electrophysiologists, and other specialists in the development and execution of individualized treatment plans. Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and hospital-wide medical committees.
Mentor and guide junior medical staff, residents, and fellows in clinical practice and procedural training. Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology through continuous professional development and participation in medical conferences.
Requirements
MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in MD/DM in Cardiology from a recognized medical institution. Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or cardiac care setting. Proven expertise in echocardiography, TMT, Holter monitoring, and cardiac catheterization. Hands-on experience in performing coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), and angioplasty.
Certification or demonstrated competency in pacemaker implantation and device management. Strong diagnostic acumen and ability to interpret complex cardiac imaging and electrophysiological data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex medical information to patients and families.
Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and hospital information management tools. Valid medical license and registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent). Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and continuous medical education.
