Job description

Posting Title: Gynecologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹upto 250000 LPM Work Experience: 2 years Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and provide accurate diagnoses in OPD and IPD settings.
  • Perform and manage emergency laparoscopic procedures with a focus on timely intervention and optimal outcomes.
  • Carry out hysterectomies and other complex gynecological surgeries using minimally invasive techniques.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with gynecological conditions, including hormonal imbalances, fibroids, endometriosis, and gynecological cancers.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, medical documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, anesthesiologists, and other specialists in multidisciplinary care planning.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care, including patient counseling and follow-up.
  • Participate in hospital quality assurance initiatives, case reviews, and clinical audits.
  • Stay updated with advancements in gynecological medicine and surgical techniques through continuous professional development.
  • Mentor junior medical staff and contribute to training programs within the department. Requirements:
  • MBBS degree with MD/DM in Obstetrics and Gynecology or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Proven expertise in emergency laparoscopy, hysterectomy, and other advanced gynecological surgical procedures.
  • Strong proficiency in OPD and IPD patient management, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients and families.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage time efficiently, and handle emergency situations with composure.
  • Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or relevant state council) and a current practicing license.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and hospital information systems.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and adherence to medical standards.
