Morris Heating & Cooling is hiring an experienced Lead Commercial HVAC Installer to lead crews and commercial new construction projects throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.

We're looking for someone who knows commercial HVAC installation, can read plans, solve problems in the field, and confidently lead a crew from installation through project completion. EPA Universal Certification, Kentucky Journeyman License, commercial HVAC new construction experience, and regional travel are required.

What You’ll Get $35–$40/hour, based on experience Weekly pay Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule Overtime opportunities Per diem for eligible travel assignments Hotel and eligible travel expenses covered Meal allowance Company vehicle and gas card or mileage reimbursement, depending on assignment Company phone Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid holidays and PTO $200 annual boot voucher Uniforms and safety gear Tool replacement support Training and advancement opportunities What You’ll Do Lead commercial HVAC new construction installations Supervise and support field crews Install commercial HVAC systems, ductwork, controls, and related equipment Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades Troubleshoot installation and system issues Train and mentor technicians in the field Maintain project timelines, workmanship, and productivity Ensure work meets company and OSHA safety standards Complete required installation and project documentation Travel to commercial projects throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana What You Need Commercial HVAC new construction installation experience Experience independently completing commercial HVAC installations Previous lead installer or crew leadership experience EPA Universal Certification – required Kentucky Journeyman License – required Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC/R systems and electrical components Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to lead and support field crews effectively Strong communication and organizational skills Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana Why Morris Heating & Cooling?
