Job description
In a 24/7 float glass manufacturing plant, a Cold End Technician is responsible for packing glass onto racks in the correct orientation for customer shipment. The Technician keeps track of the number of lites (pieces of glass) placed on each rack, inspects for defects or improper cuts, and communicates with the cutter lab and supervisor as necessary.
Additionally, the Technician sweeps and cleans the work area, Cardinal FG, a float glass manufacturer for residential windows, is looking for Production Technicians who work safely, have a strong work ethic, are dependable, have a positive attitude, and work effectively in a team environment.
