Forward Deployed Engineer, Platforms (US)

MISSION Our mission is to deliver everyone a sustainable income. Right now 25,000 business operators earn over $7B per year. We will not stop until 1B people every month are making money on Whop. ROLE When sales closes a platform or marketplace deal that needs payments on Whop, you take it from the AE and finish the integration.

You sit between the customer and product and drive the technical work to done. This is a highly entrepreneurial role with a lot of freedom. You own the integration end to end. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Run every integration as a project, with status, next step, and timeline written down and current
• Get into the customer’s codebase, ship what it takes, and get out
• When the product or API is missing something, break the gap down and fill it so the next customer can use it too
• Reply fast. A real answer in about 30 seconds is the standard.
• Work with the AE and account team so the customer goes live cleanly WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Founder or ex-founder who built and integrated payments or marketplace infra
• FDE, solutions engineer, or founding engineer background shipping with customers
• Top-class engineer, fluent in APIs, automation, and integrations
• Works in Cursor and Claude and can sit with a platform eng team without a translator COMPENSATION / PERKS
