Deployment Coordinator (Field Implementation Engineer)

Consultant or specialized service provider to support an upcoming project.

Project duration: 1-year contract (renewable) Project Start: June 2026 Project Location: Madrid, Spain Contact: Franci Hernandez | +49 (0) 89 23 88 98 55 Scope of Work: The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supporting field deployment activities across multiple telecommunications technologies, acting as the main interface between the customer, subcontractors, and the technical teams involved in the project.

Responsibilities

Coordinate deployment activities directly with the customer. Plan and manage work assignments for subcontractors and installation teams. Monitor execution progress and ensure deployment milestones are met according Provide technical support to subcontractors during installation, integration, and Troubleshoot field deployment issues and coordinate resolution with engineering teams when required.

Review and validate installation quality and compliance with customer standards. Prepare and review deployment documentation, installation guidelines, and implementation procedures. Design and define installation templates according to customer requirements. Ensure correct implementation of power, cabling, fiber, rack layout, and equipment installation standards.

Coordinate site access, material readiness, and deployment schedules. Report project progress, risks, blockers, and deployment status to project management. Requeriments FP2 or Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline. 5+ years experience coordinating telecommunications deployment projects.

Experience managing subcontractors and field implementation activities. Strong customer-facing experience. Ability to work independently and take ownership of deployment activities. Technical Knowledge (Priority Order) Experience with IP Networks (Routers, Switches, Aggregation Networks). FTTH Networks (GPON, XGS-PON, OLT deployments).
