Job description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operation Theatre (OT) Technician with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing the operation theatre, assisting surgeons and nursing staff during procedures, and ensuring all surgical equipment is properly maintained and sterilized.
Prepare and maintain the operation theatre before, during, and after surgical procedures. Sterilize surgical instruments and ensure all equipment is functioning properly. Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff during surgeries. Monitor and manage OT supplies and equipment inventory. Follow strict infection control and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and equipment usage.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience as an OT Technician. Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, and OT protocols. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment.
