Job description
The General Sales Manager serves as the strategic and operational leader of Newport Aquarium's Sales department, with responsibility for driving profitable revenue growth across group sales, private events and other assigned sales channels. This leader owns the development and execution of the annual sales strategy, leads and develops a high-performing sales team, and ensures the department operates efficiently, effectively and with a strong sense of accountability.
The General Sales Manager will actively identify new business opportunities, strengthen existing client relationships and continuously evaluate opportunities to grow revenue and market share.
