- Nashua, NH Hours: Full-time: Variable Shift Availability (1st Shift/Swing Shift/Late Night Shift) with variable weekends and holidays required Job Responsibilities Maintain a positive, professional, and approachable leadership presence that reflects BIG Service standards and fosters teamwork, mutual respect, and a welcoming environment for internal and external guests. Directly supervise Pit Supervisors, dealers, slot attendants, slot leads, slot supervisors and other assigned gaming personnel in accordance with The Nash Casino policies and applicable laws. Plan and assign work; support staffing, training, coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations; and ensure Team Members complete their duties accurately, efficiently, safely, and on time. Oversee slot floor and table game operations during assigned shifts, ensuring the integrity and proper conduct of gaming activities and compliance with gaming procedures, regulations, internal controls, Title 31 requirements, and company policies. Assist with jackpot approvals, payouts, fills, credits, and required documentation; monitor machine availability and floor conditions; and support slot promotions, special events, machine moves, and installations in coordination with Slot Technical, Security, Surveillance, and other departments. Identify and promptly report suspected cheating, gaming irregularities, unsafe conditions, unusual situations, and internal control concerns to the manager on duty or appropriate department. Deliver exceptional service while maintaining a calm, helpful demeanor in a fast-paced environment. Address guest complaints, disputes, and operational issues, escalating matters to the Gaming Shift Manager when necessary. Build and maintain professional, trusting, and positive relationships with managers, supervisors, Team Members, coworkers, guests, and vendors. Complete shift reports and communicate significant gaming activity, operational concerns, and other relevant information to Manager and the Gaming Shift Manager. Attend scheduled shifts and staff meetings, and perform other duties as assigned. Demonstrate honesty and integrity, comply with uniform and appearance guidelines, and set a positive workplace example. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team; meet all legal and company requirements for gaming-industry employment; follow company safety procedures; respond appropriately to emergencies; and report unsafe conditions.
Education
and Minimum Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older with a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks. Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy. Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid New Hampshire gaming license. Ability to practice the principles of public relations and outstanding guest service. Extensive Knowledge of, and ability to deal all table games Physical/Mental Working Demands Must be able to move in and around the work area throughout the entire workday.
Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to engage and interact with all guests appropriately and work well under the pressure of a fast-paced environment. Must be able to successfully communicate on a regular basis with all co- workers, vendors, and guests both in person and over the telephone.
Must be able to answer all inquiries and provide assistance and information in a professional and accurate manner. Must be able to access and interpret information on computer screens. Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted, and can be loud with guest chatter, overhead music, and live entertainment.
