About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our growing team within the shipping and maritime sector. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and placing qualified seafarers for international clients. You will work closely with crewing managers, clients, and candidates to ensure high-quality recruitment aligned with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for seafarers and maritime professionals Source candidates through databases, job portals, social media, and referrals Screen CVs, conduct interviews, and assess candidate suitability Coordinate with clients and internal teams to understand staffing requirements Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment documentation Ensure compliance with maritime, flag state, MLC 2006, and company regulations Conduct reference and document checks Support crew planning and workforce development activities Monitor recruitment KPIs and provide regular status updates Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalization of recruitment processes Requirements Previous experience in recruitment; maritime or shipping industry experience is a strong advantage Knowledge of seafarer certification, documentation, and crewing processes is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple vacancies and work under deadlines High level of accuracy and attention to detail Proficient in MS Office and recruitment systems Benefits A stable position in an international maritime company Competitive salary and benefits package Professional growth and training opportunities A dynamic, multicultural working environment The opportunity to contribute to innovation in maritime recruitment and manning If this sounds like you, and you have experience in the maritime industry, we’d love to hear from you.
