Role Summary

As a Forming Operator, you will be responsible for operating horizontal forging machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining our standards of excellence. $3,000 Sign-On Bonus Job Details Position Type: Hourly, Full Time Flexible shift options: Weekdays | Monday – Friday | 5:00am – 3:30pm Weeknights | Monday

  • Friday | 3:30pm – 2:00am Weekend Days | Friday
  • Sunday | 6:00am - 6:00pm Weekend Nights | Friday
  • Sunday | 6:00pm - 6:00am Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00/hour for Mon
  • Fri shifts $20.40 - $24.90/hour for Fri
  • Sun shifts Plus, $4.00/hour shift premium for night shifts Work Location: Hotform (7034 IL Rt 84, Savanna, IL 61074) Reports to: Production Supervisor Key Responsibilities Set up tooling, operate, and perform changeovers on forging machines to produce components according to specifications Ensure products meet our strict quality control requirements Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and make necessary adjustments Use an overhead crane to load raw material onto machine Interpret blueprints and use basic measuring instruments Complete all necessary documents accurately and thoroughly Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area in accordance with 5S standards Adhere strictly to safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned Skills/Competencies Mechanical aptitude demonstrated through previous experience or hobbies Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions Ability to take initiative, demonstrating the ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion without supervision Ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with team members and internal customers Ability to read and understand blueprints Proficiency in basic computer and mathematical skills Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous industrial manufacturing experience is strongly preferred Demonstrated steady work history with minimal employment gaps History of reliable attendance record and punctuality - essential to support production timelines and team operations
