
Senior Specialist Reliability (Quality)
Job description
We are seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented Reliability Quality talent to oversee laboratory operations, drive root cause analysis, and ensure compliance with global semiconductor and automotive standards. In this role, you will champion quality excellence, mentor technical teams, and collaborate with global matrix networks to deliver high-turnkey reliability solutions.
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions Drive robust 8D investigations , containment activities, and deviation management to ensure effective Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA). Champion technical problem-solving efforts, providing expert guidance and mentorship to lab technicians during failure investigations.
Coach teams on reliability failure investigations , ensuring a deep understanding of failure mechanisms and stress test behaviors in accordance with JEDEC and AEC-Q standards. Operations & Quality Management Oversee daily laboratory operations to consistently meet KPI targets and exceed client expectations for full and half turnkey solutions.
Manage the lab documentation system , providing critical administrative and technical support to lab and operational engineers. Deploy and maintain Quality Management tools and methodologies across all laboratory processes to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 standards. Lead internal audit management , overseeing the preparation, execution, and closure of audit findings to maintain certification readiness.
Global Alignment & Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary interface for the global Reliability Product Testing (RPT) matrix, internal clients, and external auditors (including IATF 16949 compliance audits). Collaborate with global RPT experts to align, standardize, and implement consistent testing methodologies and compliance standards ( JEDEC, AEC-Q100 / Q006 ).
Actively participate in the Infineon global RPT standardization matrix to drive continuous improvement and cross-site synergy. Team Development & Workplace Excellence Lead staff training programs and manage competency certification processes to elevate team capabilities. Drive 5S coordination and change management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellent housekeeping habits.
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related engineering discipline. Experience: 3 to 5 years of working experience in semiconductor reliability testing, quality engineering, or failure analysis lab environments.
Industry Standards: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with semiconductor and automotive standards, including JEDEC , AEC-Q100 / Q006 , and IATF 16949 quality management systems. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in 8D methodology, RCCA tools (5 Whys, Fishbone), and core Quality Management tools. Soft Skills: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to effectively collaborate with global teams and matrix organizations.
