Cost Accountant - Inshas

Role Description The Cost Accountant will be responsible for managing and analyzing cost data to support accurate pricing, budgeting, and financial decision-making. Day-to-day tasks include preparing cost reports, monitoring production and operational expenses, performing variance analysis, and maintaining cost accounting records.

The role involves collaborating with operations, procurement, and finance teams to develop and refine cost models, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure compliance with internal policies. The Cost Accountant will also assist in month-end closing activities, inventory valuation, and financial audits. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Egypt.

Requirements

Strong skills in cost accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide clear recommendations. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, as well as solid Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and modeling. Knowledge of inventory management, standard costing, and manufacturing or product-based cost structures.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in operations and finance. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CMA) is an advantage.

Experience in a manufacturing, technology, or consumer products environment is preferred. Ability to work on-site in Egypt and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
