Job description
The T&OD Specialist within our Services Center plays a key role in supporting and enhancing the Institute’s global Talent and Organizational Development processes. This individual contributor role is responsible for coordinating and administering programs related to goal setting, performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement.
The role ensures these processes are executed with consistency, data accuracy, and a strong employee experience, partnering closely with HR, people leaders, and global stakeholders. Additionally, the role supports the design, communication, and continuous improvement of talent programs to strengthen organizational capability and employee development.
Essential Duties
Administer and support the Institute’s global Talent & Organizational Development processes, including performance management, goal-setting, succession planning, and Connect check-ins Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely updates within talent systems and templates, maintaining strong data integrity across all processes Coordinate and facilitate communications, resources, timelines, and guidance for annual talent programs with HR Partners and People Leaders Partner with HR Business Partners and global Talent & Organizational Development stakeholders to ensure consistent execution of talent processes and enhance the employee experience Support the administration and end-to-end execution of the employee engagement survey, including documentation, communications, system readiness, tracking, and reporting logistics Prepare dashboards, trackers, analytics, and summaries to support insights and decision-making related to talent, performance, engagement, and succession data Provide first-level support and respond to inquiries from HR teams, leaders, and employees regarding talent and engagement programs Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by documenting processes, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending enhancements to talent and engagement programs Assist with planning and delivery of communications, training materials, and presentations to support capability building around talent processes Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including HRIS, Communications, and HR Operations, to ensure alignment, accuracy, and seamless execution of talent and engagement initiatives Provide trainers with content, goals, and facilitation support Competencies Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities Strong understanding of talent management principles, including performance management, goal-setting, succession planning, and employee engagement High attention to detail with the ability to maintain data accuracy across multiple systems and processes Effective communication skills with the ability to clearly convey guidance, timelines, and process instructions to HR partners and leaders Strong analytical and data interpretation skills to prepare dashboards, summaries, and insights that support decision-making Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cyclical processes simultaneously with strong organizational and time management skills Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with HR Business Partners, HRIS, Communications, and HR Operations to ensure seamless execution of talent programs Proficiency with HR systems and tools, including Workday, SAP, or Oracle, and advanced capability with MS Office and Excel for reporting and analysis Strong process orientation with the ability to document workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements Solid facilitation and presentation skills to support training, communications, and capability-building efforts Strong customer service mindset with the ability to provide responsive, accurate support to employees and leaders Disclaimer: This job description indicates in general terms, the type and level of work performed as well as the typical responsibilities of employees in this classification and it may be changed by management at any time.
