Assistant Manager – Accounting & Finance Outsourcing (US Region) Hyderabad/Visakhapatnam Full Time Reports To: Chief Financial Officer 10 years + experience ideally Role Overview: The Assistant Manager – Accounting & Finance Outsourcing (US Region) will be responsible for managing accounting and finance service delivery for clients based in the United States.

This includes overseeing accounting operations, managing client relationships, leading delivery teams, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and regulatory standards. The role requires prior experience in managing offshore accounting teams catering to US clients, strong technical accounting knowledge, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Service Delivery Management Act as the primary point of contact for all US-based clients. Oversee month-end and year-end accounting activities, including reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and review. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP. Manage deliverables related to AP, AR, GL, payroll, and bank reconciliations.

Collaborate with CPA firms for tax filings and audits as needed. Conduct regular client review meetings to ensure satisfaction and alignment with SLAs. Team Leadership & Operations Lead a team of accountants and senior accountants working on multiple client accounts. Review team deliverables and ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Conduct training sessions on US accounting standards, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and other accounting tools. Drive performance management and maintain high employee engagement. Assist in recruitment and onboarding of team members. Process Excellence & Quality Implement strong quality control measures to minimize errors and rework.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Monitor project profitability, efficiency, and client utilization metrics. Maintain documentation for internal and external audits.

Requirements

Strong understanding of US GAAP and regulatory compliance. Hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle Financials, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Bill.com, and Excel. Excellent client communication and relationship management skills. Leadership experience with the ability to manage multi-level teams. Analytical mindset with attention to accuracy and detail.

Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios.

Qualifications

& Experience: CA / CPA / MBA (Finance) / ACCA preferred. 5–8 years of accounting experience, with minimum 3 years in a managerial role handling US clients. Experience working in outsourced/offshore accounting environments. Strong exposure to US taxation, payroll, and reporting cycles.
