Job description
Overall Purpose Of The Job To lead and manage all Information and Communication Technology (ICT) operations at the Delhi site, ensuring 24/7 availability of infrastructure, applications, and communication systems. The role includes strategic planning, hands-on technical support, project leadership, and alignment with regional and corporate IT standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities
IT Operations & Infrastructure Ensure uninterrupted availability of network infrastructure, EPABX systems, and telecommunication services. Maintain secure, efficient, and cost-effective ICT systems in compliance with corporate and regional guidelines. Provide 24/7 support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues at Delhi site.
Technical Support & Development Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and resolve in-house application bugs. Translate user requirements into system specifications and deliver timely solutions. Participate in client-related activities to enhance service delivery through technology. Support cloud-based systems (e.g., AWS, FreeBSD), CRM platforms (e.
g., SFDC), and Microsoft applications (O365, Teams, SharePoint) Project & Performance Management Lead local IT projects in alignment with Group and APMEA Region IT strategies. Manage IT budgets and ensure timely resolution of issues. Report on IT status and performance to the APMEA Region office. Ensure adherence to corporate IT standards and project timelines Administrative Management Promote cost-effective service delivery and continuous improvement.
Ensure appropriate staffing levels to support 24/7 IT operations. Drive competency development through structured training programs, certifications, and on-the-job learning. Evaluate team performance and align skill development with emerging technologies and business needs Communication & Collaboration Liaise with internal departments, regional offices, and external vendors.
Foster teamwork and cross-functional collaboration. Maintain effective relationships with telecom and system suppliers. Application Management Joint ownership of any local applications with local business stakeholders Support, maintenance and ongoing oversight of local applications Job Profile Required Skills & Knowledge Experience with Microsoft Windows, Azure, Linux, AIX environments.
Network equipment management (Cisco, Catalyst, Net. Screen). Cloud systems for e-commerce and call center applications. Programming in Visual Basic, Access, and web technologies. Strong understanding of networking and system architecture Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science from a reputed university.
Minimum 8 years of hands-on ICT experience, including team leadership. Experience in fast-paced, service-oriented environments. Required Languages Excellent written and spoken English Travel Requirements Occasional travel for client training and service review meetings
