Responsibilities
Lead strategic suppliers and influence commodity strategy to ensure assurance of supply (AOS). Drive supplier technology development and quality performance. (Eg: DFX, RCCA, 8D, etc) Explore and lead the use of alternate materials/processes/new technology/design improvement to achieve Cost savings, Quality improvement, and AOS aligned with Keysight's business needs.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, and worldwide suppliers to resolve complex technical and manufacturing issues. Provide technical guidance, mentor engineers and strengthen internal technical capabilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Motivated individual with strong leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills. Preferably 8-11 years of experience in relevant fields. (Eg: materials engineering, supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, etc) Strong knowledge in Design, DFM, RCA, CAD, FEA tools and mechanical parts fabrication processes (e.
