Audio Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Mix Front of House (FOH), monitors, and/or broadcast audio for weekend services, youth services, and special events. System Maintenance: Ensure all audio equipment (consoles, microphones, in-ear monitors, wireless systems) is kept in excellent working order. Stage Setup: Oversee stage audio plots, input lists, and patch sheets for weekly rehearsals and run-throughs.

Volunteer Training: Assist the Production Director in training and coaching volunteer audio operators to ensure consistent quality across all environments. RF Coordination: Manage wireless microphone and in-ear monitor frequencies to prevent interference.

Qualifications

& Requirements 2+ years of professional live audio mixing experience (experience in a modern worship environment is highly preferred). Deep understanding of digital audio consoles (e.g., Yamaha, Behringer/Midas, Di. GiCo, Allen & Heath) and audio networking protocols (Dante, Waves). A trained, critical ear for live musical balance, vocal clarity, and dynamics.

Ability to troubleshoot audio signal paths quickly in a high-pressure, live environment. Strong collaborative spirit and a teachable attitude.
