Production Director
Job description
Key Responsibilities
Direct and mentor the production team (including the Audio Engineer) and build a thriving, well-trained volunteer team for weekend services. Service Execution: Oversee the technical execution (audio, video, lighting, media) of all weekend services, mid-week rehearsals, and special events. Technical Stewardship: Manage the maintenance, inventory, troubleshooting, and purchasing of all AVL equipment.
Collaboration: Partner closely with the worship, creative, and experience teams to bring creative elements and sermon series to life on stage. Budgeting: Manage the production department budget, ensuring wise stewardship of resources.
Qualifications
& Requirements 3–5+ years of experience leading production in a mid-to-large church or live event environment. Proven leadership experience with a track record of recruiting, training, and retaining volunteers. Strong technical knowledge of professional audio systems, LED/intelligent lighting, video routing, broadcast setups, and stage design.
Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure and a high-detail orientation. A heart for ministry and alignment with our church’s mission and values.
