What you will be doing? This position is contingent upon contract award. We are currently pursuing a proposal and are seeking qualified candidates to include in our submission and identify candidates for future hiring needs on the program once awarded. For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Software Architect. Core Knowledge & Skills: Makes platform and tooling decisions, translates requirements into architecture, designs enterprise-level infrastructure, leads agile ceremonies, and participates in workforce screening and fit. Work & Complexity: Delivers highly creative solutions to complex problems, sets evaluation criteria, and provides technical direction across projects.

Quality & Independence: Manages priorities and scope with clients, streamlines operations, and anticipates needs to deliver exceptional speed, accuracy, and value. Teamwork & Communication: Serves as prime contact for significant matters, briefs leaders and clients on new subjects, and coordinates multidisciplinary teams.

Consulting & Engagement: Retains clients, pushes back constructively when needed, represents the firm at major events, and shapes roadmaps aligned to business goals. As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Principal Software Engineer

Project Summary Looking for a Principal Software Engineer

  • Full Stack with minimum 12+ Years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Engineering & Architecture Leads end-to-end full-stack solutions using React and .NET for scalable, cloud-native applications. Architects component-based front-end systems and secure back-end APIs. Enforces clean architecture, domain-driven design, and contract-first APIs. Leads design reviews and mentors' engineers across full-stack disciplines.

Leadership and Collaboration Leads cross-functional teams and mentors engineers. Influences architecture and engineering standards. Communicates effectively across stakeholders. Required For This Opportunity Front-End Engineering (React) Expert in React (hooks, functional components, state management, routing). Establishes responsive, accessible UI standards and reusable component libraries.

Optimizes performance using lazy loading, memorization, and efficient API calls. Back-End & API Engineering (.NET) Expert in C# and .NET Core for enterprise-grade APIs and microservices. Designs event-driven systems and scalable integration services. Ensures reliability, observability, and high performance. Cloud & DevOps (Azure) Advanced Azure experience: AKS, APIM, Key Vault, Service Bus, Blob Storage.

Builds CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Leads containerization with Docker and Kubernetes. Security & Identity Expert in OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, and Microsoft Entra ID. Implements Zero Trust and RBAC/ABAC models. Drives secure SDLC and vulnerability management. Testing & Quality Engineering Defines full-stack testing strategies including UI and API layers.

Implements automated testing frameworks and CI quality gates. Promotes testability and observability. Enterprise Delivery & Governance Owns end-to-end architecture and delivery. Defines engineering standards and governance. Drives DevOps and agile delivery practices.
