For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Senior Business Analyst. Core Knowledge & Skills: Leads complex requirement analysis, manages stakeholder relationships, and mentors junior analysts. Work & Complexity: Oversees complex projects, performs advanced data analysis, and drives process optimization. Quality & Independence: Produces comprehensive documentation, seeks continuous improvement, and works independently.
Teamwork & Communication: Leads cross-functional teams, aligns project goals, and provides mentorship. Consulting & Engagement: Advises on strategic initiatives, provides advanced consultation, and supports process reengineering. As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Senior Business Analyst.
Introduction As we continue to shape and develop our product, the Development Team is expanding. We are seeking a Systems Analyst who will play a pivotal role in defining the technical specifications for the Product. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders, developers, and testers to shape the product vision, establish robust technical requirements, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, low-defect releases.

What You’ll Be Doing Serve as the primary technical liaison between product, business, and software development teams, ensuring technical requirements, architectural considerations, and best practices are embedded in product design and delivery.
Translate business objectives into actionable technical steps, defining and prioritizing features and initiatives that balance business, technology, and end-user needs. Own the creation and maintenance of detailed technical specifications, solution documentation, and system architecture artefacts for development teams and stakeholders.
Lead business process modelling and ensure comprehensive, up-to-date system documentation to support technical clarity and traceability. Collaborate closely with developers to guide technical implementation, integration, and troubleshooting throughout the software development lifecycle. Drive the adoption of technical standards, security protocols, and performance optimization practices across the product and development teams.
Work with testers to define, automate, and drive robust acceptance testing, championing quality and technical excellence at every stage. Proactively identify, assess, and manage technical risks and issues, providing clear progress reporting and escalation as required. Required For This Opportunity Proven experience in systems analysis or technical business analysis within financial services, insurance, or pensions industries and which are still optional, with a strong track record of delivering technical solutions.
Practical familiarity with web technologies, enterprise technology stacks, and relational databases (including SQL skills), with the ability to evaluate and recommend technical approaches. Demonstrated ability to interpret complex business requirements and translate them into robust technical specifications, solution documentation, and system architecture artefacts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail and significant experience in data analysis and process optimization. Experience collaborating with designers and developers, with a solid understanding of UX/UI processes and their technical implications. Ability to produce comprehensive application and business requirements, technical specifications, and maintain high-quality technical documentation in line with industry standards.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing, and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Organizational abilities and flexibility to manage multiple technical priorities in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. Self-motivated, proactive, and resilient, with a can-do attitude and the ability to overcome technical challenges and drive continuous improvement.
Commitment to upholding technical standards, security protocols, and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Nice to Have
Skills Familiarity with IT Quality Management frameworks, security protocols, and compliance standards relevant to financial services. Knowledge of emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, data analytics) and their application in financial products. Proven track record of evaluating and recommending new technologies, frameworks, or tools to enhance product capabilities.
Experience mentoring or coaching technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Strong understanding of performance optimization, scalability, and system reliability in enterprise environments. Ability to contribute to technical strategy, roadmap planning, and long-term product vision. Location and Travel Details This is a Hybrid position who can work 3 - days a week from office.
Security Clearance and Citizenship Requirements Must be able to obtain and/or maintain Secret Clearance.
