Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Gastroenterologist to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will specialize in the diagnosis and surgical management of diseases affecting the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and related digestive organs, delivering exceptional patient care and surgical outcomes.
Diagnose and surgically manage gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, and pancreatic disorders. Perform elective and emergency gastrointestinal surgeries, including minimally invasive and laparoscopic procedures. Evaluate patients through clinical assessments, diagnostic imaging, and endoscopic findings. Develop comprehensive treatment and surgical plans.
Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care. Manage complex gastrointestinal emergencies and surgical complications. Collaborate with gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiologists, and critical care teams. Maintain accurate and timely medical records and surgical documentation. Educate patients and families regarding treatment options, procedures, and recovery plans.
Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
Requirements
MBBS with MS/DNB in General Surgery. MCh/DNB Fellowship in Surgical Gastroenterology or equivalent qualification. Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical council.
