Job description

Posting Title: Urologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹350,000 to ₹500,000 LPM Work Experience: 1+ year --- ### Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic imaging and laboratory results.
  • Conduct a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, TURP, prostate biopsy, and renal stone removal via lithotripsy.
  • Execute advanced surgical interventions such as nephrectomy, pyeloplasty, bladder augmentation, urinary diversion surgery, and bladder suspension surgery.
  • Perform complex reconstructive and corrective procedures including urethral stricture repair, urinary bladder repair, and penile prosthesis implantation.
  • Lead and participate in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries, including vasectomy, vasectomy reversal, and artificial urinary sphincter insertion.
  • Manage patients with urological cancers, including prostate, bladder, and kidney cancers, through surgical resection (e.g., cystectomy, orchiectomy) and multidisciplinary care coordination.
  • Perform and oversee renal transplantation procedures in collaboration with transplant teams.
  • Provide preoperative and postoperative care, including patient education, complication management, and follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in clinical audits, research initiatives, and continuous professional development to support quality improvement and innovation. --- ### Requirements
  • MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Urology (MD/MS in Urology) from a recognized medical institution.
  • Valid medical registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 1 year of postgraduate clinical experience in urology, preferably in a hospital or tertiary care setting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in all required surgical procedures, including:
  • Artificial Urinary Sphincter Insertion
  • Bladder Augmentation
  • Bladder Suspension Surgery
  • Cystectomy
  • Cystoscopy
  • Kidney Stone Removal (Lithotripsy)

  • Strong understanding of urological oncology, reconstructive urology, and male infertility management.
