Job description
The incumbent will be responsible for the respiratory assessment, therapeutic treatment, evaluation, testing, education and communication for all patient populations served.
Education
Graduate of AMA accredited program for Respiratory Care. Licensure: Holds and maintains a current Ohio license. Certification: RRT credential by the NBRC. BLS for health care providers must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment. Experience: Previous health care experience preferred. Skills/Other: The RRT must be able to successfully complete the clinical and didactic orientations for adult patient care areas.
In order to maintain the status of a Registered Respiratory Therapist, the incumbent must successfully complete the annual competencies provided by the department for the appropriate patient care areas.
