Mower/Equipment Operator

JOB OVERVIEW Position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of various equipment such as mower, backhoe, skid steer, asphalt roller. SPECIFIC TASKS, DUTIES, & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mow grass in various city rights-of-way and city property.
• Use chainsaws to cut or remove trees or tree limbs from right-of-ways.
• Inspect, clean and service equipment each day of operation or as needed.
• Assist with concrete and asphalt work.
• Clearing debris from storm drainage inlets, ditches, and culverts.
• Assist with storm related cleanup.
• Performs all other duties as assigned. WORKER REQUIREMENTS (education, certifications, experience, etc.) REQUIRED:
• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree)
• Valid Louisiana Driver’s License
• Able to work under varying conditions and to perform moderate physical activity. HOURS/SCHEDULING
• Monday-Friday
• 7am-4pm
