Key Responsibilities
Supervise and facilitate safe, stimulating play environments that support children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Plan, organize, and prepare age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity and exploration. Promote inclusive play and support children of diverse backgrounds and needs. Maintain a positive, caring, and professional relationship with children, families, and staff.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a childcare or early education setting. Level 7 qualification with DCYA (Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth) recognition. Degree in Pedagogy, Early Childhood Education, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A caring, empathetic, and patient approach to working with children.
