Location -Stockholm (SE) Remote -25% (Hours per week - 40 ) Assignment period -16 Oct 2026 -09 Jan 2027 Deadline - 08 Oct 2026 Senior Java Developer – Fund Trading Platform | Stockholm We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a business-critical Fund Trading Platform team working on a modern solution for mutual fund order processing across the Nordic market.

Key Responsibilities

Develop scalable microservices using Java 21 & Spring Boot Build and integrate REST APIs and Kafka-based event flows Work with Microsoft SQL and data integrity Write clean, maintainable and testable code using OOP, SOLID principles and design patterns Develop automated unit, integration, API, regression and functional tests Work with JUnit, Cucumber and test automation frameworks Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines Perform API, Kafka, database and UI validation Troubleshoot defects and collaborate with Developers, DevOps and Product teams Contribute to continuous improvement and test automation Required Skills Java 21 Spring Boot & Microservices REST APIs Apache Kafka Microsoft SQL JUnit & Cucumber Test Automation CI/CD Object-Oriented Design & Design Patterns Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Nice to Have: React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Selenium/Playwright/Cypress, Docker/Kubernetes, JPA/Hibernate, financial services or trading domain experience.
