Job description

Posting Title :- Radiologist Responsibilities:

  • Perform and interpret diagnostic ultrasound (USG) examinations across various body systems, including abdominal, pelvic, vascular, and obstetric/gynecologic imaging.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of imaging findings with clear, concise, and clinically relevant interpretations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to support diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient management.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, radiation protection standards, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated with advancements in imaging technology and clinical guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of imaging protocols to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes.
  • Support training and mentorship of junior radiology staff and sonographers when required.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and documentation requirements in line with hospital and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree with postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DNB in Radiology).
  • Minimum of 2 years of postgraduate clinical experience in diagnostic radiology, with a strong focus on ultrasound (USG) imaging.
  • Proficiency in performing and interpreting a wide range of ultrasound scans, including abdominal, pelvic, vascular, and obstetric applications.
  • Strong understanding of imaging physics, anatomy, and pathology relevant to ultrasound diagnostics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, medical staff, and hospitality service teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard environment with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Valid medical registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent) and any required state-level licenses.
  • Familiarity with digital imaging systems (PACS, RIS) and electronic health record (EHR) platforms.
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality, ethical practice, and continuous quality improvement.
