The Charleston County Sheriff's Office is on the hunt for our next team of non-experienced or experienced Juvenile Detention Deputies  — If you've got a strong work ethic and a desire to serve, we'll give you all the tools and training you need to succeed. At the Juvenile Detention Center , you will work with youth, ages 13-17 years, in a secure twenty-four-hour detention setting.

One must be able to interact with all residents in a fair, firm, compassionate, and consistent manner while reinforcing behavior expectations.    We Offer: Hourly Pay: Start with an hourly rate of $23.30 - $27.39 (based on education and experience ).
