Veterinary Assistant, Emergency Location: Centerville, OH Schedule: Full Time | 2nd Shift | 3 Twelve Hour Shifts Per Week | 1pm-1:30am

In Your Day-To-Day, You Will Deliver compassionate nursing care and hands-on assistance to emergency and hospitalized patients. Partner with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to assist with patient restraint, treatments, diagnostics, and medical procedures. Provide outstanding customer service to clients throughout their visit, helping create a positive experience. Observe patient comfort and well-being while advocating for the highest standard of care. Promote an organized and efficient Emergency department by assisting with patient flow and working closely with the veterinary team. Build your clinical skills through practical experience, mentorship, and continued learning opportunities. What You Bring High school diploma, GED, or higher education At least 2-years veterinary clinical experience preferred Ability to execute treatment orders as directed by a DVM Ability to safely restrain patients for various types of treatments and procedures Ability to work efficiently, and remain calm during stressful situations Ability to run diagnostic laboratory tests and procedures Possesses a positive attitude and team oriented mindset Dedicated to excellent client communication and client care.
