Job description
General Statement of Duties: Performs professional-level administration, maintenance, monitoring and strategic support of the County’s network and cybersecurity infrastructure. Serves as a technical subject matter expert for County network infrastructure and cybersecurity systems. Responsible for designing, implementing, securing and optimizing County network systems including LAN/WAN infrastructure, wireless systems, firewalls, fiber-optic networks and related technologies.
The position exercises substantial independent judgment in evaluating infrastructure needs, implementing technical solutions, resolving complex systems issues, and supporting long-term technology planning and cybersecurity initiatives.
