Registered Practical Nurse, Emergency Mental Health and Addiction Services / Trillium Acute Care

The Emergency Mental Health and Addictions Service (EMHAS) provides crisis assessment and crisis supports to ensure individuals with mental health and addictions issues/concerns receive timely, safe, respectful and effective care. Homewood’s Trillium Acute Care Program assesses and stabilizes patients exhibiting life-threatening or self-injurious behaviour related to a mental illnesses or disorder and provides patients with a safe and secure environment, pharmacological and other interventions such as resource education, and coping skill development.
