Job Title: Retail Manager Business: The Noosa General Store Location: Noosa, QLD Employment Type: Full-time The Noosa General Store is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring high standards of customer service, operational efficiency and business performance.
The successful candidate will organise and control retail operations in accordance with business objectives and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Managing daily retail store operations across both sites, which are located directly next to each other. Managing stock levels of the retail product and other inventories Monitor sales performance with the owners, analyse revenue data and implement approved strategies to maximise profitability. Manage budgets, control operational costs and oversee financial reporting processes Recruit, train, supervise and performance manage retail and service staff Prepare and manage staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
Ensure compliance with food safety, retail trading and workplace health and safety regulations Oversee merchandising, pricing and promotional activities to drive sales growth. Maintain customer service standards and resolve escalated customer complaints Liaise with suppliers and negotiate supply arrangements Review operational procedures and implement improvements to enhance efficiency Requirements Diploma level qualification in business, management or related field, or at least three years of relevant retail management experience Previous experience managing a retail food business preferred Strong leadership and staff management skills Excellent organisational and communication abilities Ability to work weekends and public holidays as required Sound knowledge of retail operations, budgeting and stock control Benefits Stable full-time employment Supportive team environment Opportunity to contribute to business growth and operations Career development opportunities Salary: Competitive salary aligned with market rates and industry standards.
