Position Summary
Are you a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment? As an Operational Lead , you’ll help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly while ensuring clients receive safe, consistent, and high-quality services. You’ll lead by example, support and develop staff, maintain a structured environment, and help the team continuously improve how services are delivered.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is organized, dependable, calm under pressure, and passionate about creating a positive experience for both clients and staff. What You’ll Do Oversee daily site operations and ensure services are delivered consistently, safely, and with care. Lead and support up to 4 FTEs in non-clinical roles , promoting teamwork, accountability, and open communication.
Train staff, provide guidance, and monitor performance to ensure quality and consistency. Coordinate daily staffing, coverage, inventory, and facility needs. Monitor client activities and help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment. Conduct regular rounds to ensure building and grounds are safe, secure, and well maintained.
Provide direct service support when needed based on program requirements. Keep operations moving through clear communication, effective delegation, and strong organization. Ensure compliance with agency policies, regulations, protocols, and accreditation standards. Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies and crises using sound judgment and established procedures.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using designated software. Partner with your supervisor on operational initiatives, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Help foster a positive team culture where staff feel supported and clients receive excellent service. Perform other duties as assigned to support program success.

Successful candidates will have: Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to model professionalism. Excellent organization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to establish and maintain healthy professional boundaries with clients and staff. Conflict-resolution skills and the ability to navigate challenging situations effectively. Knowledge of crisis-management techniques and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Basic computer, data-entry, and recordkeeping skills.
Ability to motivate staff and create a collaborative, positive team environment. Valid driver’s license if required by program duties.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-3 years of experience in a similar supervisory, leadership, or program operations role. Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on position that requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, handling, and communication, with occasional sitting.
Driving may be required based on assigned duties. Ability to walk up to four flights of stairs may be required depending on location. Occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, or balancing. Ability to operate standard office equipment, including a computer. Frequent use of near- and mid-range visual acuity. Frequent to constant talking and communication.
