Description
Serve as FAA Certified Drone Pilot for one of JetPro’s clients, via JetPro’s JetPro HR™ program. Position is based on the West Coast, including the San Francisco Bay Area & Central/Northern California.

Hard Skill Requirements
- FAA Part 107 Certification . FAA Part 107 Drone Certification required. No exceptions.
- RPIC Experience . Minimum of 1-year RPIC (Remote Pilot in Command) experience required.
- Transmission & Distribution Inspections . Experience preferred with transmission & distribution inspection environments.
- PC Skills . Basic PC skills required, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, electronic file management, simple graphic/photo management skills (sizing & cropping), Internet, and video conferencing.
- Organizational . Organizational skills & strict attention to detail with a passion for accuracy.
- Time Management . Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

P hysical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing / walking while conducting drone flights, often on uneven terrain.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (video review & analysis)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (e.g. lifting drone in/out of vehicle)
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.

Summary
We are accepting applications for full-time professional Drone Pilots, to be based in or near Concord, Redding, or Salinas, CA, assigned exclusively to one of JetPro’s California based clients.
Primary Duties
- Conduct Drone Flights . Conduct drone flights as instructed. Travel to/from drone launch sites via personal vehicle, company vehicle, or rental vehicle, as needed. Some drone launch sites will be remote and may require the use of a 4x4 vehicle. Flight time is estimated to be approximately 50 hours per month (~3 hours per day), but subject to change as needs change.
- Conduct Post-Flight Analysis . Conduct post-flight & follow-up video review, analysis, and documentation, as instructed.
- Maintain Confidentiality . This role will have visibility to sensitive information. It is critical to maintain professionalism and confidentiality, both internally and externally. Information is shared with others only as a need-to-know basis. Employee will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement as part of their employment.
- Submit Timesheet Bi-Weekly (CrewTrac™). As an employee of JetPro Pilots, Drone Pilots will submit a bi-weekly timesheet to JetPro via JetPro’s exclusive CrewTrac™ system. Wages will be paid on a bi-weekly basis.
- Submit Expense Report Weekly (TripTrac™). As an employee of JetPro Pilots, and if needed from week-to-week, Drone Pilots will submit a weekly expense report to JetPro via JetPro’s exclusive TripTrac™ system. Expenses will be reimbursed on a weekly basis.
- Safety Equipment . Accept and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required, including but not limited to Safety PPE As required, including but not limited to hard hat, safety vest, and boots.
- All Other. Accept other duties as required.
Pay & Benefits
- Wages . Drone Pilots will be hourly at-will employees, employed by JetPro on a W2 basis. Pay will commensurate with experience in the range of $25-$50 per hour.
- Expenses . Approved expenses will be reimbursed (pre-tax).
- Time Off . No paid time off is offered for the first year. Unpaid time off may be requested.
- Health Insurance . High-deductible plan with optional Health Savings Account.
- Retirement . Full-time employees are eligible for 401(k) Safe Harbor plan, including up to 4% company match after 10 weeks.
- Dental . Available at employee expense, via payroll deduction.
- Vision . Available at employee expense, via payroll deduction.
- Life. Group Life Insurance included at no charge. Optional Voluntary Life coverage available for employee and/or spouse/dependents at employee expense, via payroll deduction.
