Agreement

These terms govern your use of TheJobsMap ("we", "us"), including the website thejobsmap.com, the TheJobsMap mobile apps, and the TheJobsMap integrations inside AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Meta Muse (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

What the Service is

TheJobsMap is a map-based explorer of companies and their publicly listed job openings. Job listings and company information are aggregated from publicly available sources, mainly the hiring companies' own careers pages. We are not an employer, recruiter or staffing agency, and we are not a party to any application, interview or hiring decision.

Accuracy of listings

We refresh listings regularly, but jobs can close, change or contain errors at the source. Pay ranges, locations and other details are shown as published or as parsed from the listing and may be incomplete. Always confirm the details on the hiring company's own site before you apply or make a decision.

AI assistant integrations

When you use TheJobsMap inside an AI assistant, the assistant sends us your search details (for example a job title, location or company name) and we return matching listings and links. The integration is read-only: it cannot apply to jobs, post content or access your accounts. The AI assistant is operated by its own provider under its own terms and privacy policy, and we are not responsible for how the assistant interprets or presents our results. Accounts and payments

Some features, such as subscriptions and paid job posts, require an account or a payment. Payments are processed by our payment provider. Prices are shown before you pay. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for the accuracy of any job post you submit, which must be a real, lawful opening you are authorized to advertise.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Bulk-download, resell or republish the listings or data, or run automated scraping that exceeds normal personal use.
• Circumvent rate limits, overload our servers, or interfere with the Service or its security.
• Post fraudulent, discriminatory or misleading job ads, or use the Service for anything unlawful.

Third-party sites

Applying for a job takes you to the hiring company's site or applicant tracking system. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them or for anything you submit there.

Intellectual property

The Service, its design, maps and software belong to us or our licensors. Company names, logos and job content belong to their respective owners and are shown to identify the employer and the opening. If you represent a company and want a listing corrected or removed, contact us.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on a listing. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.

Changes and termination

We may change or discontinue any part of the Service, and we may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms. We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and continued use after that means you accept them.
