Job Description In this role, you will oversee warehouse associates, drive operational excellence, champion continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate cross-functionally to support customer and business needs. Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations & Fulfillment Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including order processing, inventory management, receiving, storage, and fulfillment operations. Ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment while meeting service, quality, and productivity objectives. Monitor workflow and operational performance to maintain efficient warehouse operations.
Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement effective solutions to minimize disruptions. Inventory Management & Systems Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and inventory audits. Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.
Utilize and optimize Warehouse Management System (WMS) functionality to support inventory transactions and order processing. Ensure inventory control processes are consistently followed and maintained. Team Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates to achieve operational, safety, and quality goals.
Provide training, performance feedback, and ongoing development opportunities for team members. Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment that promotes employee engagement and continuous improvement. Support workforce planning and daily staffing needs to meet operational requirements. Continuous Improvement & Cross-Functional Collaboration Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost effectiveness.
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, Sales, Customer Service, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations. Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), using data to drive operational improvements and decision-making. Support initiatives that improve service levels, inventory accuracy, and overall warehouse performance.
Safety & Compliance Promote and enforce a culture of safety throughout warehouse operations. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. Maintain adherence to warehouse safety standards and best practices. Required Qualifications Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or inventory management environment. At least 1 year of experience leading, supervising, or coordinating the work of team members. Knowledge & Skills Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, fulfillment processes, and supply chain fundamentals.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop employees in a team-based environment. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform warehouse-related activities for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field. Forklift certification. Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a warehouse or distribution environment. Experience working with inventory optimization, warehouse metrics, and process improvement programs.
