• Thu, 8a - 4:30p On-Call Shift Schedule: 24-hour call shifts on designated dates Call Type: In-House Call Ratio: 1:4 Call Response Time: 20 minutes Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 15 patients Admissions: varies Rounding: Both Phone Consults: 5 per night Case Mix: Cardiothoracic surgery, including CABG, valve, etc. FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Support Staff: RNs: 2, MAs: 1 PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified Licenses: Universal License (IMLC) or Missouri license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Experience: Minimum 1-2 years experience required Other Qualifications: Vein harvesting, first assist; experience with chest tubes, central, arterial, and PICC lines preferred Duties & Responsibilities Provide call coverage and perform procedures in Cath Lab. Cover clinic sessions Tues-Thurs (8A-4:30P), seeing 8-10 patients per day. Perform vein harvesting and first assist in cardiothoracic surgeries. Manage and care for central, arterial, and PICC lines as needed. Provide overnight call coverage, including patient consults and OR assistance.
