Job Description: Mars Wrigley – Machine Operator- Elizabethtown, PA Pay: Based on experience starting at $24.10/hour+ and $1.50 shift premium This site manufactures DOVE chocolate Current Shift Schedule (2026) Shift: 3rd (Night) Schedule: Monday- Friday Hours: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM (flexible pending business needs) Future Shift Schedule (2027): Transition to a 12-hour night or day shift schedule (Further details will be provided Description of Role: Machine Operators (Team Members) function as an expert member of a manufacturing area team responsible for the efficient production of quality products.

What are we looking for? Minimum Requirements: High school diploma, GED or equivalent education 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing Proficiency in software systems including MS Office and e-mail Physical Requirements: Perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs) Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.

Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces. Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours Capable of working in non-climate-controlled areas including hot, cold and wet conditions. Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.

Preferred Qualifications

Technical degree or certifications 2+ years experience in a manufacturing setting operating a variety of machines Ability to operate a forklift Knowledge of inventory control principles Experience with SAP or other warehouse management system What will be your Key Responsibilities? Performs activities and job tasks within a manufacturing line or area Operates equipment and changeovers in a safe and efficient manner Takes corrective actions in solving problems to root cause level Able to assess equipment operating reliability and perform routine repairs, adjustments, and malfunction troubleshooting Performs and/or works with Maintenance to complete equipment preventative maintenance (PM) Performs quality control (QC) tasks such as metal checks, inspection of date codes, item numbers, dump logs, etc.
