Job Summary
Responsible in providing specialized financial accounting services to RAMCAR Battery Group’s foreign affiliates namely, Supercharge Batteries, Marshall Power, Eaglefield Batteries Pty, Enirgi Power Storage and Lightbase Batteries. Also responsible in overseeing the daily operations of the Shared Services-GL Team which include but not limited to daily transaction upload and updating, month-end closing procedures, preparation of monthly schedules and reports, and other tasks that may be requested by the senior supervisor and/or manager as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of Financial Statements and accompanying schedules and reconciliation
- Analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting practices.
- Preparation of Business Activity Statement or GST Report
- Bank reconciliations and recording of reconciling items
- Intercompany AR/AP reconciliations
- Processing of employee’s credit card advances/accruals and liquidation of credit card advances.
- Posting of journals such as accruals, prepayments, amortization and among others
- Identify ways to streamline accounting operations and ways to improve the processes
- Supervise and provide overall guidance to GL Associates.
Qualifications
Knowledge ? Graduate of BS Accountancy, CPA preferred but not required ? At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field ? Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel and Word) ? SAP knowledge ? Knowledgeable in FS audit Skills and Abilities ? Effective English communication skills ? Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports ?
