Job Summary
Responsible for developing and managing distributor and sub-dealer accounts for batteries within an assigned territory. The role involves regular fieldwork, coordination with distribution partners, and the execution of sales strategies to drive growth and ensure smooth distributor operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Servicing Communicate and implement Sales and Marketing policies to distributors and sub-dealers. Monitor competitor activities—pricing, promotions, product quality—and submit timely reports with actionable insights. Conduct regular sub-dealer visits and engage in missionary selling to support distributor coverage and sales.
- Distributor Management Conduct credit checks on prospective distributors and assess their creditworthiness. Maintain updated distributor business profiles, including financial data and personal details. Address and document distributor concerns, requests, and operational needs. Identify business opportunities or threats within assigned areas and recommend appropriate actions.
- Sales Performance & Strategy Prepare and present sales reports, territory performance, and market feedback to management. Ensure consistent execution of sales programs and recommend improvements based on field insights.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the motorcycle battery, spare parts, accessories, or automotive-related industry. Willing to travel and conduct frequent fieldwork. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to assess market conditions and competitor activity.
