The Facilities Technician is an essential part of ensuring our buildings remain clean, organized, and ready for our community each day.

Position Summary

Beech Brook is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Facilities Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors. This position is responsible for daily cleaning, building upkeep, supply management, safety checks, and supporting the overall operations of Beech Brook facilities.

This position does not require plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or specialized trade experience.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, kitchens, common areas, hallways, meeting rooms, and other assigned spaces. Restock kitchen, restroom, and cleaning supplies as needed. Complete routine walkthroughs of the building and grounds to identify safety concerns or areas needing attention. Report building concerns, damages, or safety issues.

Assist with coordinating vendors (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.) when needed. Help maintain safe entrances, sidewalks, and outdoor areas, including applying salt during winter weather. Assist with room setups, moving furniture, deliveries, and other building support needs. Maintain organized records and complete assigned checklists.

Travel between Beech Brook locations and community sites as needed for deliveries, supplies, and agency-related errands. Provide professional and courteous service to staff, clients, visitors, and vendors.
