JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Emergency Medicine Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Fort Myers, Florida Coverage Period: Jan 01, 2027 – Jun 30, 2027 Shift Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM Hours Per Shift: 10 Shifts Per Week: 7 (7 on, 7 off) Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 2 patients per hour per provider Case Mix: Adult and pediatric, high acuity trauma FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: Trauma facility (level unspecified) PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes (ED privileges only) JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board certification in Emergency Medicine required Certifications: ATLS required DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide immediate recognition, evaluation, care, stabilization, and disposition of adult and pediatric patients with acute illness and injury.

Manage ED patients with high acuity, including trauma cases. Work 10-hour shifts, with preference for 7 on/7 off schedule. Complete all patient care documentation and ensure proper handoff at shift end. Emergency Department coverage only; no inpatient or admitting privileges required.
