Sterilization Control

The Sterilization Control is responsible for sterilizing instruments, supplies, and wrapping/storing these items until ready for use.  This position distributes supplies, instruments, and equipment used in patient care.  This position also cleans rooms ensuring a sterile atmosphere for surgery and patient care. They assemble both sterile and nonsterile equipment, as well as check and adjust it to ensure that it is working properly.
