- Locums Coverage Period: Sep 01, 2026 – Ongoing Shift Schedule: Various shifts: Mon 9a-9p/1p-1a, Tue-Thu 9a-8p/2p-1a, Fri-Sun 10a-7p/3p-12a Reason for Coverage: Coverage Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 84 patients per day FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: Level IV EMR System: Medhost PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 90 days Temporary Privileges Available: Yes (expedited for clean files) JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Texas license required to proceed Certifications: ACLS (AHA only), ATLS, PALS required DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide coverage for ER department as scheduled Adhere to active Texas license and maintain required certifications (ACLS, ATLS, PALS) Utilize Medhost EMR for documentation Work with expedited privileges for clean files Maintain minimum availability of 3 shifts per month
