Job Responsibilities
Ensure adequate funding across all currencies, maintain appropriate funding for various nostro account positions, and closely monitor intraday liquidity movements ;. Execute interbank lending and borrowing, FX swap, and repo transactions in line with market conditions and the Bank's liquidity requirements ;. Manage interest rate, liquidity, and currency mismatches within the banking book ;.
Monitor key risk indicators to ensure compliance with internal risk limits and regulatory requirements ;. Develop and execute trading strategies to optimize profitability within the Bank's approved risk management framework ;. Provide market intelligence, pricing information, and professional advice to business units and internal stakeholders ;.
Perform ad hoc assignments as required. Cross-functional rotation to the FX and Precious Metals team may be required . Job Requiremen ts. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related disciplin e;. Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in money market tradin g;. Holder of relevant Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) qualification is preferre d;.
Solid knowledge of money market operations and a broad range of financial instrument s;. Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and possess strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skill s;. Strong awareness of market developments and regulatory changes, with sound risk management judgmen t;.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Chinese word processing, and Treasury systems such as Reuters, Bloomberg, and Calyps o;.
