Job description
Develop and execute the overall inventory optimization strategy across finished goods, raw materials, WIP, and spare parts. Design and implement inventory models (Safety Stock, EOQ, Reorder Point, ABC/XYZ, Demand Forecasting, S&OP/IBP). Partner closely with Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, and Finance to align inventory with business objectives.
Monitor and improve key KPIs: Inventory Turnover, Days of Supply (DOS), Service Level, Obsolete & Slow-moving Inventory, Working Capital. Lead inventory reduction and de-obsolescence initiatives. Leverage data, analytics, and systems (ERP, APS, BI tools) to enhance inventory visibility and decision-making. Build and develop a high-performing inventory and planning team.
Requirements
At least 15 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning, or Inventory Management, with 5 - 8 years at senior management / director level. Strong expertise in inventory optimization, demand planning, and S&OP/IBP. Solid business and financial acumen, with a clear understanding of P&L and cash flow impact. Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.
g., SAP, Oracle). Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional influencing skills. Fluent in English; international experience is a plus.
